Executive Assistant (Part Time Position)

ABOUT NO MORE STOLEN CHILDHOODS

The reality is that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before the age of 18. NO MORE STOLEN CHILDHOODS (NMSC) is a nonprofit organization committed to advocacy, prevention education, and healing the trauma of child sexual abuse. The mission of NMSC is to change the public perception about childhood sexual abuse and help those abused find fulfillment in their lives.

JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Assistant reports to the Executive Director and supports organizational excellence by creating, implementing, and sustaining systems that accelerate the mission driven efforts of NMSC. This position ensures prompt and trauma-informed communication to survivors, donors, and advocates and adds efficiency and capacity to further the mission of No More Stolen Childhoods. This part time salaried position enjoys a flexible and occasional remote work schedule.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational & Donor Management Excellence

  • Maintain constituent database and run regular reports for Executive Director
  • Ensure delivery of prompt donor thank you correspondences and regular donor communications
  • Maintain Receipt Log inclusive of expense tracking and contribution receipts, audited monthly

Executive & Board Meeting Management

  • Coordinate conference calls and secure meeting minutes of board, committees of the board, and other relevant meetings
  • Organize board communication not limited to board memos, board meeting materials, and meeting minutes
  • Support the planning, execution, and follow up from annual board retreat

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

  • Drafting and copy-edit letters to various stakeholder groups
  • Answer calls from various stakeholders, including but not limited to, survivors of childhood abuse and providing appropriate care and understanding of trauma informed response
  • At times, support execution of marketing and communication plan

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and follow through on projects
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent professional written communication & copy-editing skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and awareness in Trauma Informed Care
  • Preferred but not required, experience in legislative copy editing and reading
  • Experience in identifying, reading, and synthesizing research
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs and database management experience: experience with Kindful (CRM), Mailchimp (email communication) is beneficial

BENEFITS

  • Salaried Position with annual salary range of $22,000
  • Part-Time Schedule of 20 hours a week with flexible & occasional remote work schedule
