No More Stolen Childhoods (NMSC), a Maryland based nonprofit with a mission to engage communities in the prevention of and healing from Child Sexual Abuse is looking to hire a part time Program Manager to join our team. Founded in 2004, NMSC fulfills its mission through the delivery of prevention training to youth, caregivers, professionals, and the community as well as supporting therapeutic services to survivors of child sexual abuse. The organization is committed to approaching the crisis of child sexual abuse from a public health and “Information first” perspective, collaborating with and learning from leading researchers in Maryland and nationwide, and listening to survivors, peer organizations and practitioners to ensure that it is identifying, and meeting needs locally.
NMSC is seeking a Program Manager to lead the organization’s prevention and recovery services. In September 2021, NMSC adopted its first Strategic Plan and identified several key initiatives focused on program development to expand access and reach. Currently, NMSC provides various trainings to youth, professionals, caregivers and in the community focused on online safety, child sexual abuse prevention and recovery, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). In addition, NMSC partners with licensed clinicians to support survivors seeking therapeutic services through our counseling grants program. This allows survivors to receive services at a reduced rate or at no cost, while ensuring these services are provided by qualified practitioners.
As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Program Manager who is passionate about our mission and committed to helping us expand our reach in the communities that need our services. This position will be responsible for:
- Creating, implementing, and presenting trainings and materials related to child sexual abuse and trauma.
- Partnership development to increase visibility and growth of trainings, counseling grants and other initiatives.
- Performance measurement development, evaluation, and analysis.
- Development of program goals, policies, and outcomes (e.g., supporting grant proposals through writing, research, and reporting).
- Chairing the Program Committee and collaborating with members on program-related content and oversight.
- Developing surveys for various audiences and leading small focus groups, as needed.
- Seeking program feedback and compiling input for evaluation and consideration.
- Attending and participating in NMSC meetings.
- Collaborating and coordinating with consultants who support various organizational initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in working with individuals who have experienced trauma.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and care.
- Experience in program development, policy writing, and evaluation.
- Experience in performance measurement design, data collection and reporting.
- Experience in developing and leading presentations for various audiences including youth, parents, and professionals.
- Demonstrated record of both internal and external collaboration and partnership development.
- Experience and comfort working with a small team.
- Preference given to those candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish.
While expertise in child sexual abuse is not a requirement, the vision of NMSC is to live in a world where we all understand the innumerable impacts of child sexual abuse and are compelled to eliminate this abuse. The services that we provide are developed, implemented, and maintained with this as a guiding principle. We are a small team committed to our mission and are excited about the opportunity to expand our knowledge and services with the addition of this position. NMSC is based in Stevenson, Maryland and offers a hybrid working schedule. This position offers 25 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to increase hours based on service expansion. These hours and scheduling are flexible. This position does not include health insurance benefits but does include Paid Time Off. Part Time Technology Specialist

Founded in 2004, NMSC fulfills its mission through the delivery of prevention training to youth, caregivers, professionals, and the community as well as supporting therapeutic services to survivors of child sexual abuse. The organization is committed to approaching the crisis of child sexual abuse from a public health and “Information first” perspective, collaborating with and learning from leading researchers in Maryland and nationwide, and listening to survivors, peer organizations and practitioners to ensure that it is identifying and meeting needs locally.
NMSC has developed several trainings and resources related to online safety. These include information related to online risk, youth perspectives of technology, effective communication, popular apps, social and legal consequences, and preventing exposure to explicit material. NMSC has also developed resource packets and an online safety newsletter to provide the latest updates on relevant matters related to technology. In addition to training and resource development, NMSC is in the process of rebranding. We are striving to increase visibility, expand our reach, and raise awareness of our mission and services. We foresee achieving this through social media, partnerships, print media, and targeted marketing.
This is a unique position that combines an understanding of information technology, communication, education and the development and implementation of programming related to online safety. The Technology Specialist will play an important role in these efforts and will be responsible for:
- Creating, implementing, and leading trainings related to online safety and child sexual abuse.
- Developing and maintaining resource materials related to online safety.
- Writing and publishing an online newsletter related to online safety and technology.
- Managing the marketing database Mailchimp and supporting integration with the donor database, Kindful.
- Collaborating and coordinating with consultants in website development and management.
- Overseeing social media accounts, including development of content and oversight of publication schedule.
- Partnership development related to online safety and collaborative training.
- Developing and/or collaborating with consultants in the design of promotional and marketing materials.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in both information technology and social media marketing.
- Experience in managing email marketing services, customer relationship management databases and software integration.
- Familiarity with best practices of online safety and educational content for a variety of audiences.
- Experience in content development and implementation (i.e. – newsletter, resource packets, training materials).
- Experience with applications related to graphic design (i.e. – Canva, Adobe, Visme).
- Demonstrated record of both internal and external collaboration and partnership development.
- Experience and comfort working on a small team.
